Hi Everyone,
Thanks for joining our community of practice, and it's a pleasure to have you on our site! My name is Jonathan White and I am the administrator of the Learning Portal for DM&E for Peacebuilding.
Building a successful website is an incredibly complicated process. We're experiecing a few glitches with the Learning Portal, and we are working hard to get these ironed out so you can further enjoy your experience here. Look for added functionalities on the homepage in the coming days, as well as smoother, overall site performance. If you experience any major issues, you may contact me by using the Contact Us form, or by emailing me at jonathan@dmeforpeace.org.
In the meantime, there is still lots for you to do! The Forums are working properly, as is the Resource Library under Learn. I encourage you to check out some of the resources we have pre-loaded on the site, and if you see your favorite resource is missing, add it! You could also tell us why it is your favorite resource.
The Opportunities section is also fully functional. We've loaded lots of Events and Job Opportunities onto the site, as well as one or two Funding Opportunities. We are working to develop the Consultant section further, but feel free to add yourself to the Roster!
See you online soon!
Cheers,
Jonathan
