WHY THE SUDANO-SAHEL?
Since conflict is often not bound by national borders, we aim to facilitate learning across regions. This toolkit is designed primarily for use within the ecological zone known as the Sudano-Sahel. The Sudano-Sahel spans from the Sahara in the north to the tropical humid climate zone in the south, covering Sudan in the east to Senegal in the west. Here, pastoral livestock production and related value chains are central to survival.
