Join DME for Peace on Thursday, February 20th at 10am EDT, as Shaziya DeYoung and Jessica Baumgardner-Zuzik of Alliance for Peacebuilding, join the M&E Thursday Talks to lead a discussion on “What does it mean to measure peace? Ask Eirene!”
How do we measure trust in the peacebuilding field? What can we learn from organizations conducting programming and evaluations in specific conflicts? These are just a couple of questions you can find the answers to in the Eirene Peacebuilding Database. The Eirene Peacebuilding Database is a comprehensive collection of 3,381 indicators from 2,008 publicly available peacebuilding resources. The database includes programmatic approaches, indicators, and measures that are currently being used in the peacebuilding field.
The Eirene Peacebuilding Database is the culmination of nearly two years of work to search, catalogue, curate, and share key peacebuilding indicators that will help better assess and measure impact across seven defined program areas. Shaziya and Jessica will explain how and why Eirene came about, and provide an interactive demonstration, so that participants will know how to use the database, what types of content it contains, and different ways to interact with it.
