On April 15, 2020, Search for Common Ground (Search) organized a virtual roundtable in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Charline Burton, Executive Director of Search Europe, moderated the virtual roundtable with two of Search’s experts, who shared valuable lessons learned from implementing Search’s Ebola response work in West Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo. They also discussed how these lessons can be applied to the current COVID-19 response, and ways to prepare for the medium- and long-term consequences in conflict-affected areas. This was followed by a rich Q&A session with participants.
SPEAKERS:
Charline Burton, Executive Director, Europe
Lena Slachmuijlder, Senior Vice President of Programs
