RESEARCH STUDY FOR THE DEPARTMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The research found some examples of positive action resulting from People to People programmes in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
It concluded that the most plausible pathway to long term impact is likely to be through alumni becoming agents of change. However, it did not find sufficient evidence to make definitive conclusions about the longer-term impact of people to people programmes in the OPTs.
It recommends a stronger focus on theories of change, monitoring and evaluation, and more longer-term programming in future.
