Such a challenge must be addressed to ensure Iraq’s full recovery from the pandemic, according to this report by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Iraq, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The report notes that COVID-19 has exacerbated existing and deeply rooted political, economic, social and security challenges, which has had a significant impact on Iraq’s diverse social fabric.
